The increase in production, along with the variation in the composition of wastewater of the plant devoted to almond peeling and marzipan production, made the functioning of the wastewater plant critical.


We replaced the underground line of air distribution completely, in order to increase the oxygen capacity of the aerobic line. Furthermore, we optimised the whole SBR process and added a settling-thickening tank for the excess sludge resulting from treatment, equipped with an automatic discharge system.
