We designed and realised a treatment plant using the prefabricated technology aiming to speed up and secure the construction work: circular tanks in glazed steel to set up on site, prefabricated concrete process tanks and a technical room with machines and the electrical system in an equipped 40’ HC shipping container. Most of the electromechanical equipments left Italy already installed, wired and tested. The completion time, scheduled for the end of October, is equal to 3 weeks.
The features of the wastewater produced by this factory, in particular the elevated COD, the nutrients’ unbalance and variability of the wastewater, pushed us to adopt the MBR purifying technology, preceded by a special treatment with chemicals. The treatment plant is compatible with a a tertiary treatment with ozone.
