Need
Ca Metal owns a waste treatment plant in Pannelia di Sedegliano.The waste is hold in an external storage, metal cans for food in particular, during rainfalls they generate a leachate rich in metals and organic material, hence impossible to treat efficiently in the existing de-fatting plant with discharge to surface waters.
Solution
We built and installed a chemical-physical plant upstream of the de-fatting plant: by adding chemicals it guarantee the removal of the main pollutants respecting the discharge limits. The system is designed to treat rainwater after the first flush, too.
