Need
The customer, an important winery in the Chianti area, needed to realize a new water treatment plant for the wine farm, along with the wastewater coming from the adjacent resort.
Solution
Taking into account the stringent discharge limits to dispose the treated waters in the small lake in near proximity of the wine holding, but mainly the highly varying organic and hydraulic load of the wastewater of the winery, we decided to realise a plant to treat wastewater by the membrane technology (ultrafiltration, MBR) within partially underground concrete tanks cast in place.
The purifying process is highly automated to limit the use of human resources and may be controlled remotely via WEB, thanks to its remote-control system.
