The client issued a tender for complete design and construction of the new wastewater plant for the city of Rovinj where, during the summer period, the huge population increase overloads the existing plant.

CID awarded the tender and fully designed and erected the new wastewater treatment plant. The new treatment scheme includes: pretreatment section, biological system comprehensive of sequential units of defosfatation, denitrification and full oxidation, and ultrafiltration with a battery of 18 MBR modules for a total of 28,000 square meters. The process is completed with sludge treatment by thickening and dehydration by centrifugal decanters.
