Taking into account the stringent discharge limits, we decided to realise a plant to treat wastewater by the membrane technology (ultrafiltration, MBR) within partially underground concrete tanks cast in place. We converted the former treatment plant in a settling\/emergency tank and we also installed a line for the automatic dehydration of the excess sludge.
